Business Values
The rapid processes of regions’ convergence determine the cross-cultural interaction as well as the emergence of multicultural business environment. This inevitably forms the demand for cross-cultural values’ cognition and compatibility as one of the most important preconditions for effective business.
The training methodology of European cross-cultural business values would allow to introduce the common values in the context of social and economic integration in Europe, by transferring the cultural heritage and forming the common guidelines of European business culture development as well as training the cultural self-awareness of businessmen.
The aim of the project is to form the conceptual model of European business’ cultural values and to prepare the methodology of vocational training of cultural values that are adequate to common European trade environment in the enterprises.
The tasks of the project are:
To prepare the methodology for diagnosis of cross-cultural values
and to execute research in five European countries.
To formulate the conceptual cultural values’ model of business in Europe.
To prepare the training methodology of European cross-cultural business values.
The acquaintance of business institutions with the planned to prepare conceptual cultural model of business in Europe, which would be formed in regard to the latest development tendencies of common socio-cultural environment and new requirements for business as well as in regard to the practical results achieved during the research, would reveal the guidelines for furthe
r development of business cultural values in Europe.
The training methodology prepared with the help of professional consultants (the majority of organizations that take part in the project engage in professional training and consultancy) would allow enterprises to apply the common European imperatives of busines
s’s cultural integration inside and outside the
company. This would help to strengthen the real preconditions for effective business cooperation in the context of European regions’ convergence.
The extent and complexity of the project as well as the synthesis
of theory and practice determine the need for
high competence of the project’s executors, skills for st
rategic and analytical thinking and ability to
identify the business solutions adequate to the environment and to adapt them in practice. The pilot project team, which meets the above-mentioned requirements, is composed. This team consists of the following members:
The organizations that have large scientific and research po
tential, that is, Kaunas University of Technology, Economics and Management Faculty (Lithuania), Institut für sozialwissentschaftliche Beratung (Germany), Abif (Austria).
Even though all organizations that participate in the proje
ct keep close contacts with the business enterprises, however this is very true with Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (Lithuania). The Chamber will ensure the information flow about the interim and final results of the project by using the partnership connections with the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts in other countries.

(Spain), IDEC (Greece).
Organizations having the experience and technical possibilities in preparation of methodical tools for training in multimedia and internet: IDEC (Greece) and Training 2000 (Italy).
The management of pilot project would belong to the contractor, Kaunas University of Technology, Economics and Management Faculty.
